"Solazo ("Kike, Miguel y Janiah") topped all educational performances that we’ve presented in recent years. Their in-school and public performances incorporated geography, history, culture, music theory, rhythm, dance, and of course, Spanish. Children were captivated by stories about the Incas and how musical instruments were made centuries ago and transitioned to modern culture. Audience participation was used often to teach Spanish words and rhythms.
. . . The group transitioned well from meager gym stages to well-equipped auditoriums. We highly recommend this group and plan to present them again in a few years. "
